Before Daniel Aram Hampikian could graduate with a Ph.D. in Philosophy, he had to write and defend a dissertation. Daniel Aram Hampikian’s dissertation on “Moral Emotions in Nonhuman Animals” was accepted by doctors in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Miami. Daniel Aram Hampikian completed his dissertation in February of 2013. In May of 2013, Daniel Aram Hampikian graduated as a Doctor of Philosophy and now teaches philosophy classes including: Introduction to Philosophy, Contemporary Moral Issues, and Critical Thinking and Ethics.
